I confess I know very little about these things. Should I investigate
this at the Wt level (i.e. set a breakpoint somewhere in Wt code and
check for some value being different from what is expected - if so it
would be helpful to know where), or should I try to reproduce the
problem in a context independent of Wt and follow up on the mailing
lists of these other components (pango, fontconfig)? If the latter,
any ideas on how to try to reproduce the problem?
