So I finally figured out what was causing my issues. When I make the build
directory, cmake .., and then go into the examples folder and build those it
doesn't have all the links to what is needed. I know I have to link to the
resources folder but apparently in the main examples folder there are other
folders and resources I need to link to for each example. Once I created those
links everything worked fine.

At the crash line the code is:
minx = maxx = data[0];
I assume that the data vector is empty, so no data is loaded. Check readObj.C,
and add some print statements there...

Well the other examples work so I'm not sure why this one would complain about
how I'm executing it. Here is a pastebin of the backtrace when running it from

I haven't had a chance to dig into yet but it looks like it's throwing up in
the centerpoint function of the PaintWidget.C file.

webgl example works for me. Do you have a stacktrace? It may be that the
example misbehaves if it doesn't find its model file, which is in the source
directory of the example (many examples expect that they are executed from
within the example's source directory).

I was going through and running the demos on the new 3.3.0 release and the
webgl demo segfaults for me every time I hit the webpage. Has anyone had this
issue and resolved it?
