I can't install Votive package v. 2.0.3309.0 for my VS
2003 SP1. There is a window after installation with text:
"Package WiX Project Package has failed to load
properly { GUID = ... }. Please contact package vendor
for assistance. " A so on...
Does anybody know the reason?

I have had this problem too: I have tried version
2.0.3220.0 on Windows 2000 SP4 and Windows XP SP1 both with
Visual Studio .Net 2003.
matje said that 3116 works, but it's not possible to
download this version any more is it?
I'd really like to start experimenting with and evaluating
Votive - please help!

Same problem here...the weird thing is, I think the current
build (whatever the released build is as of 2005-10-20)
installed and worked at one point a few weeks back. I had to
uninstall it when I was troubleshooting some other
issues...now, the install itself appears to succeed, but I get
the same error as reported by others at the end of the msi
run.

Same here, I can't install Votive either.
I checked the last three releases, here's what i found:
release 3309 fails on install
release 3220 fails on install
release 3116 works!
FWIW I'm using VS 2003 on XP SP2
