Steps to duplicate: * Install Votive-2.0.4103.0.msi * Start VS 2005 * Create new WiX Project * Notice VS 2005 status bar says "Creating project WixProject2.wixproj... project creation successful." * At this point, using Windows Explorer verified that .wixproj, .sln and .wxs files were created and look OK. However, solution explorer in VS 2005 is empty (the bug). The project still does not appear in the solution explorer after performing the steps above. However, I found a workaround, which is to go to Tools->Options->Projects and Solutions->General and turn on "Always show solution" option.
