Hi, my name is Nova, and I run a pen pals website for
prisoners at www.originalallrightsreserved.com. Because they do
not have internet access, I
place ads for incarcerated men and women on my site, in hopes of attracting
people who might be kind enough to write one of them a letter--
many of these prisoners have lost contact with their families and friends over the years. Some
people believe that prisoners are getting their "just desserts"
when they suffer from loneliness and are separated from their loved ones.
However, I'm not one of those people, being that my own husband
has a life sentence, and I see first hand what he goes through. I am also
a school teacher in a semi- urban district, and many of my students have a parent
in prison. My website will be used partly to generate money that will be given to
a child with a parent in prison who needs help with purchasing school clothes,
books, etc. All I am asking is that you check out my website
and maybe pick a person who you wouldn't mind writing to-- it's free, and you wouldn't believe
the difference a piece of mail makes to these men and
women. Please be 18 and over! Thanks for your time! I apologize if you've received this

For those of you from another country-- the prisoners on my site are from
the United States and there are a few from Canada.
