For instance, if the registry contains the key: HKLM\Software\TestWix\MyMultiString with values "Test1" and "Test2", the search <RegistrySearch Id="mymulti" Root="HKLM" Key="SOFTWARE\TestWix" Name="MyMultiString" Type="raw" /> will cause the installer to exhibit the problems mentioned above. Attached is a zip file with a sample project that demonstrates these problems. Changing the registry search to look at a REG_SZ key instead causes the problems to disappear.
