In addition, are there any plans to support the same target platforms (x86/x64/itanium) as C# projects or do we have to create multiple "configurations" and target each configuration to as specific Solution configuration? (E.g. instead of a "Release|x86" I need to have a "Release-x86|Any CPU" configuration) I want to be able to 1) Follow the same schema (Configuration|Platform) that everything else does 2) Choose different preprocessing (package/component Guid based on the platform etc) <?if?> statements so as not to require jumping through hoops (i.e. setting separate defines for each and every project configuration to ensure that the correct preprocessor directives are followed.
