Managed DLLs don't have custom action entry points. The post you reference
shows how to use InstallUtilLib.dll to call an entry point it has (it's a
native DLL) that, in turn, creates the CLR host (via a COM-Callable Wrapper, or
CCW), and runs your installer class. InstallUtilLib.dll can be found in your
Framework directory (like %WINDIR%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727.
However, be warned that using managed custom actions is discouraged. Read
