So are you saying I need to put (darice.cub) in that directory (src\light\bin)?

I don't know what the 2925 build break was about... but the darice.cub is a
file from the Platform SDK. We don't distribute that in the sources but the
build expects to find it in that directory.

Can someone point me to a buildable release of the Wix v3 source, or tell me
what I'm doing wrong?
I've tried:
