Decompiling an MSM into a wxs, all components are grouped under the directory structure provided in the MSM. The parent of all directories is: <DirectoryRef Id="MSMName.MSMGUID"/> </DirectoryRef>, which doesn't neccessarly exist in the MSI which uses the outputed wxs. But, since the entire content of the wxs is inside the "Fragment" block, I think that it would be better if the main DirectoryRef would point to "TARGETDIR".
