Hi,

Could you help me with the question below?

I went through WiX.chm but found nothing directly helpful.
One way to do this is to use CustomAction to change the existing website's
ports before installling another new website.
but is there any recommended way to do it?
thanks,
Challen

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: How to install 2 websites that use
the same ports (80 and 443)?Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2007 10:04:51 +0000

Hi, When a MSI installs a website (using ports 80 and 443), it would delete the
existing website which is 'Running' and is using the same ports. Can I only
set the existing website's state to 'Stopped', and install the new website
using port 80 and 443 and set it as 'Running'?Manually I can do this, but how
to do it in .wxs file? thanks very much if you can point me some more details!
thanks in advance,Challen
