Hi,
I'm trying to modify an MSI which was developed when XP-SP2 was released. So,
that MSI doesn't install the drivers (INF, Editing Registry) when I install in
XP-SP3 (latest).
We still using the old WIX Tools, candle, light dark all are 2.0.3929.0. Now,
when I install this one MSI rollback and I see a compile error (en after error
I see MSI that's another issue apart from this).
Q: Do I need to upgrade all the WIX Tools, to latest just to make it work for
SP3 ?
Q. If that's the answer, just copy and replace the tools in my build
environment will do ?
Q. I see in my build Environment WIX tools,
Microsoft.Tools.WindowsInstallerXml.HelpExtension.dll, I didn't see this in the
latest WIX Tools (3.0.5120.0) ?
