Hi,
I am getting below compiler error while compiling smoke project from using
VS 2008
Warning 1 The file 'inc\wixver.cs' could not be added to
the project. Cannot add a link to the file D:\Wix\src\smoke\inc\wixver.cs.
This file is within the project directory tree. smoke
Warning 2 The file 'inc\wixdistribution.cs' could not be
added to the project. Cannot add a link to the file
D:\Wix\src\smoke\inc\wixdistribution.cs. This file is within the project
directory tree. smoke
Error 3 Use make.bat found in the root of your WiX enlistment
to build or set the WIX_ROOT environment variable to build via nant or
MSBuild directly. WIX_ROOT = smoke
Warning 4 The referenced component 'System' could not be
found.
Warning 5 The referenced component 'wix' could not be
found.
Warning 6 The referenced component 'wconsole' could not
be found.
