Dear Rob, Bob, et al,

I understand you're not lawyers but I would like your take on the following
from a WiX community perspective.

We are having an internal discussion about what constitutes a change to the WiX
source code. I believe that I have not changed what most in the community
would consider WiX's source code.

We are not shipping WiX nor changing the source code of any of WiX's tools.
E.g. burn, candle, light, etc. We followed the many modification procedures
documented in the forums, help, and tutorial sites to customize our installer's
UI.

Specifically we have modified font colors, bmp sizes, controls, changed UI
flow, added new controls, and new dialogs to our installer's UI. All of the
modified files are located in \src\ext\UIExtension\wixlib. E.g. *Dlg.wxs,
*.wxl, and other *.wxs files.

So, is there an expectation from you the guardians of WiX and/or the WiX
community, that these types of changes be given back? I believe the answer is
no but what do you think?

Sincerely,
--Albert
