I have synced down my fork but all of the files are in a binary format with a 
.1 extension.

My basic issue is the missing folders keeping me from just running make.bat and 
having it work. If I could understand how working with the Mercurial repository 
and building within it my issues may be moot.

Is your blog on www.joyofsetup.com<http://www.joyofsetup.com>? I know Rob's and 
could search that but if you have the links handy that would be helpful as 
well, as long as they cover the items above.

The sources .zip is designed for reference. To build WiX, you need an 
enlistment from Mercurial. Both Rob and I have blogged about using the WiX 
Mercurial repository; what problems are you having?
