As we discussed over the last few months, I completed the WiX Toolset source
code move to GitHub.com: http://github.com/wixtoolset/
There are three repositories that are hopefully very self-explanatory:
1. site - this is the web site code. Commits accepted here will be
reflected on http://wixtoolset.org/ within ~15 minutes.
2. wix3 - this is the WiX Toolset v3.x development line. By default you
will enlist in the develop branch which is the current active release, v3.9.
3. wix4 - this is the WiX Toolset v4.x development line. By default you
will enlist in the develop branch which is the current active release, v4.0.
The source code on CodePlex is now dead. Any pull requests sent there will be
declined. Similarly, the master branch on the wix3 and wix4 repositories are
the "released" versions of the code. We don't take pull requests there either.
There is still work to make everything feel like home but I'm already really
liking the new organization. I do believe this will work out far better for us.
