Hi folks, I'm on the lookout for a simple example that illustrates patching using WIX.
The functionality requried is Step 1. Apply original application and associated code. Step 2. Apply a patch to some of the files from step 1 Step 3. Have ability to remove the patch software, leaving the original behind so system operates as previously expected. I was trying to follow the foobar example in the tutorial but it didn't seem to do anything for me so was hoping someone could send me/direct me/create and send something that includes the above functionality At this stage I should point out that I am assuming that this type of functionality exists as it seems a faierly fundamental thing to want to do as you would not want to apply the original application, apply a patch, find it doe snot work and then have to re-install everything.
