Hey Folks, I recently downloaded in installed the latest beta for Wix3 to test its new features. I was trying to create a .msi from one of my previous projects (created for Wix 2.0), and I realized there are no .wixlib (library) files and .wxl (localization) files in the Wix3 distribution. Being optimist person that I am, I tried to copy the .wixlib and .wxl files from my Wix 2.0 distribution into the Wix 3.0 distribution. This, however, did not work. :o(
So, my question is why are there no .wixlib and .wxl files in the Wix 3.0 beta distribution. Am I missing something here WRT to te Wix3 version, compared to the Wix 2.0 version?? Maybe I'm overlooking something that's right in front of my face. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, James -------------------------------------------- James H.
