The output I posted was after having gotten part way through the build
several times. I'm assuming it was just skipping all the stuff that is up
to date (I wasn't doing a clean on that run). Anyhow, I'm more than happy
to upgrade to a later build, but the newest thing I see on SourceForge is
2420. I tried building straight out of CVS, but it's complaining as
follows...

This makes perfect sense as this file is not, in fact, in CVS. Ultimately
I've got my installer mostly built using 3.0.2420.0 and I just need to add a
dialog to gather credentials for service installation to WixUI_Mondo.
That's why I'm trying to build this thing. Bob or anyone else who can help
me reach my goal, I'll be eternally grateful! Also, I'm not sure if anyone
has already done a service credentials dialog before but if not I've got the
OK from my bosses to contribute anything useful back to the community.

Your full output doesn't make much sense. You should be seeing a lot
more stuff being built. Take a look at the latest weekly release
(3.0.2723.0). In its sources .zip file, there's a build.txt file that
was accidentally included. It shows make output. I'd also suggest using
it as a more recent build.
