Is there a way to ensure that a file on the target machine will get overwritten regardless of versioning rules (the files don't have versions nor am I in a position to ensure they do)? I have three installers: the third installer will overwrite some files of the first two and add other files. I tried using REINSTALLMODE, but it appears that it aborts the installation (because it's not an upgrade of a previous install?). I thought of deleting the files if they already exist, but I do not think that is a very practical solution.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
