The reason I believe that I was prompted to look into the other alternative is 
that there would be no suitable files to act as companion files during the 
installation.  I know version lying isn't the recommended method, but I trust 
my superiors understand the consequences and have valid reasons for making 
these decisions.

Anyways, back to the topic.  What would be required to hack the Binder code?  
Sorry if this seems like an obvious question, but I've never come across this 
before.  I'm in the middle of my first coop/internship (there's always an 
excuse), so I appreciate the patience everyone has shown me.  Could you give 
me a nudge in the right direction.
