I want to write an msi using WIX which would check if there is
previous version of the product installed. If yes, then it has to
compare the version numbers and prompt the user to either Upgrade,
Overwrite or Stop the installation. Though, I don't want to do a major
upgrade which would upgrade it by default. Rather I want the user to
select the options from a UI. Please let me know of any way to achieve
the same.
What does "overwrite" mean? You can use UI to prompt the user before
performing a major upgrade.
