Hello All,
I am creating an installer with a file in it that takes forever to compress and add to the cab file (35 minutes). It is obviously due to the files size (400 megabytes, text though). This file also never changes. I was hoping to be able to create a cab file manually, and simply insert the cab as a reference in the .WXS file for inclusion in the .MSI to reduce the time to build the installer, which is part of our automated build system. I tried using a merge module, but the same problem still persists. This is the only thing I can think of that might solve the issue for me.
