The 'Title Summary Property' page at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa372083.aspx says: 'Phrases such as "Installation Database" or "Transform" or "Patch" may be used for this property.' That doesn't sound like a requirement to me. I think it probably should be configurable and it's up to the developer to include "Installation Database" in whatever they set. If a Title attribute were omitted from the Package element (I assume that it would be Package/@Title) it should default to what WiX currently sets, so we don't break existing source. I'm afraid, though, that I could only recommend doing this for WiX v3.0.
