I have followed the examples given in http://blogs.msdn.com/pmarcu/archive/2007/06/28/sample-patch.aspx
but I have a few components with assemblies registering to GAC. when I create a patch with the latest and deployed, it does not replace in the GAC. I will not be making any assembly version changes because it will break all the other references and I do not want to have multiple versions in the GAC. only the file version will be changed. any idea? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
