Hi, I created a CA using version 3.0.4318.0 of WiX. When I ran the CA that was built via an installer, I received the error "Failed to load assembly Microsoft.Deployment.WindowsInstaller. Error code 0x80070002". Upon checking the C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\WiX\v3.0\wix.ca.targets file that the CA project template includes, MakeSfxCA.exe is called WITHOUT passing the Microsoft.Deployment.WindowsInstaller.dll in as one of the dependencies to bundle. When I modified the wix.ca.targets file, this issue was resolved. Sorry if this issue has already been reported. Cheers _________________________________________________________________
