I believe they are very much interchangeable. I've got one existing project that I use XMLFile in some older routines and XMLConfig in the newer ones. I personally prefer XMLConfig. In searching the last few weeks of posts here the questions are about XMLConfig, not XMLFile, so I have a hunch more people are leaning toward XMLConfig, but that's mostly a guess. But, yeah, they both add or remove .xml file entries. I presume XMLFile predates XMLConfig.

Is there any docs/posts/etc on where to use which? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ WiX-users mailing list WiX-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wix-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ WiX-users mailing list WiX-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wix-users
