AFAIK, IIS 5.0 doesn't support application pools.

Subject: [WiX-users] wix v3 question

Hi,

I am a first time user of Wix. Wix is a very nice tool and it is exacly what I
am looking for. However, as we have to support IIS 5.0 for our customers, I
have an issue with my application msi file. I can use the wix editor to modify
the property and bypass the requirement checking dialog (for IIS and others),
but while it is intalling, it would do - Creating an application pool. This
only works for IIS 6.0 but not IIS 5.0. The question is will I have to
customize the code or is there anywhere in the configuration that I can tweak
and bypass creating the application pool.

Thank you,
-Yung Wu.
