On other open source projects I have worked on the source code is updated when bugs are fixed. This gives you the opportunity to see the changes and build the code if you need to work with them or validate them. With WiX this doesn't seem to be the case, the source is not updated until the next release or sometimes after the release.
I assume this is because the CVS source is not the main repository but a clone of it. Would it be possible to either update CVS as changes are made or make CVS the master?
