Agreed, unfortunately no amount of arguing on my parts going to make much
head way :( ... atleast in the short term anyway. What's more confusing is I
introduced it just as part of internal automated deployment for test rigs
and was thinking once its had the rough edges smoothed off then it can be
used on customer systems, so I don't see what there is to lose just doing it
properly from the start (unless it hurrendously impacted internal
development + testing, which I don't think it was so ... :: shrugs ::).
