By browsing through the wix newsgroup, I've seen in multiple occasions that
people say it is recommended to
use different ProductCode GUIDs for packages targeted for different
architectures, and even the UpdadeCode.
What is the reason for that? I am building x86 and x64 packages with the
same wix source code, but they have
the same product and upgrade codes now. So I wanted to find out why the
practice is recommended before making
changes to my code. Thanks!
