As far as I can see, the simplest case is that you have to deploy, say, 150
files and you don't feel like authoring the necessary WiX source for all of
them manually: File tags, components, GUIDs, the works. Heat creates all that
for you and then you keep on using the .wxs as if it were your own creation.
