Does anyone know of a good tutorial or a place to get examples that show how to
properly register a VSX package?

I created a C# subproject along w/ some project templates. I tried using an
example that was auto-generated by the VSSDK Assist program, but it looks old
(even though I downloaded the latest version). It took some monkeying around w/
it to get it to compile.

I've gotten it to display my icon and title in the splash screen and in the
about box, but my templates don't seem to be registered correctly or VS isn't
picking them up for some reason.

It creates a new category in the "New Project" dialog, but it's the wrong
category (it's using the subfolder name instead of the top-level one it should)
and my new project type doesn't appear. This is all working fine and correctly
in my VSX project w/ the exper. hive - I've reset and re-registered everything
and it seems fine.

I tried to follow this example here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2009/05/21/9634722.aspx but I don't
think he was doing everything I need to do.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide,
- David Hoyt
