hi all, i'm getting a strange issue like, while installing an update(PATCH) on top of my installer. after license dialog, installation is stopping with out any error thrown. while digging into the logs it says as follows:

MSI (c) (C8!78) [11:30:26:546]: Note: 1: 2262 2: CustomAction 3: -2147287038 after seeing the log entries, i found database string pool corrupted. can any one help me on this issue? what is meant by database string pool corrupted, what is the impact of this? how should we resolve this issue? it should be appreciable who clarifies my doubts?
