Full feature set is far from worked out but there are two things I know I want to do: 1. Code clean up. Just like the beginning of WiX v3.0, we need to spend some significant time cleaning up the code (the Binder in particular did not fare well in all the patching changes). 2. WiX language simplifications. You can see things that we've done around the File element and the auto-generated Component GUIDs. In WiX v4, there is more to do and in v4 we'll have the freedom to introduce breaking changes if necessary. Of course, we'll update WixCop.exe just like we did in WiX v2 -> WiX v3. Feedback welcome.
