You said something I was not aware of. "add that local user/group to the 
appropriate domain group". Can you really add local users and groups to a 
domain group? Where can I find documentation that explains how to do that? I'm 
an AD newbie.

How would you handle a database deployment that needs to grant permissions to 
service account a service is going to be running as?
