What is the best way to add an HTTPS binding (tied to an SSL certificate) to the Default Website in IIS7?
I believe there are 3 possibilities: 1) WiX extension 2) Use appcmd.exe to update the IIS 7 metabase 3) Manipulate <system32>\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config using XML/XPath Has anyone done this before? Just to be clear, I do not want to modify/delete the existing binding to port 80.
