One scenario: If you have a suspended installation (say, the power went out during a previous attempt) and after starting up the computer again you restart the installation, the ResumeDlg is the dialog you would see that would direct you to either rollback or complete the suspended installation.
Another scenario: You run a repair-transaction and from the command-line you specify features to add and/or remove using properties such as REMOVE, ADDLOCAL, and/or ADDSOURCE. -----Original Message----- From: Sagar1111 [mailto:sagarkavitak...@gmail.com] Sent: Sunday, June 13, 2010 7:31 AM To: wix-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: [WiX-users] ResumeDlg what does ResumeDlg dialog box do? and in which scenario is this useful I was just "surfing" through the msi using orca and i found out this ResumeDlg box. what does this dialog box do. and when does it appear ?? -- View this message in context: http://windows-installer-xml-wix-toolset.687559.n2.nabble.com/ResumeDlg-tp51 74415p5174415.html Sent from the wix-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ThinkGeek and WIRED's GeekDad team up for the Ultimate GeekDad Father's Day Giveaway.
