It can't be MSI-based with guids everywhere *and* be simply an executable, so I'd verify that it's not an older non-MSI setup of the type that InstallShield used to do. If it is MSI-based and an exe, then maybe the MSI file is embedded in the resources of the exe (something like Winzip might show you that), or if you run it then there'll be an MSI file pop out somewhere to be installed, then you can use Orca to look at it, and Dark to decompile it to WiX source.
