There have been a number of references in this mail list on how to include prerequisites. The recommendation is to handle prerequisites in the product's bootstrapper. However I have a slightly more complicated requirement: A prerequisite (SQL Server Express) is required only if a particular product feature is selected from the Custom Install dialog . What would be a recommended approach in this case as it is not possible to run an external msj from the product's msi and it is too early to install prerequisites from the bootstrapper?
