Heat.exe doesn't create Features, you'll have to do those manually. You can however use the -cg option to create a ComponentGroup Element which you can reference using a ComponentGroupRef Element in your Feature which does almost all the work for you.
I also recommend using the -suid option as the file, directory & component Id's it generates are horrendous otherwise but that's personal preference.
