Hello everyone,
I had typically been building with devenv.exe within the Visual Studio IDE. The
couple *.vdproj projects I'm working with produced both an MSI and a setup.exe
after building. I am attempting to use WIX to build the MSI for automated daily
builds right now and have decompiled the current MSI with dark.exe to produce a
*.wxs file. I was also able to build the MSI again using MSBuild.
The problem is that I do not see a clear way to produce the setup.exe again as
well. Can someone point me to some reccommended options to do this?
Also, now that I have been able to build my MSI is there a way to validate
and/or do a diff against the original one that I decompiled originally?
