Typically I like to "double gate" my prereq checks via AppSearch/LaunchConditions on the event that the EXE is skipped and the MSI only is run. I've done a search for the X86 SQL CE and duplicated it to search the Win64 hive. It's not working, should it? I've read the MSI SDK and the WIX doco and I haven't found anything that says it shouldn't work. Maybe I have another wierd problem that my eyes aren't seeing so I was just hoping for a sanity check.
