Subject: Component part of a feature not getting installed, even when feature is
set to be installed

Hi,
I have components in my installer which are part of component groups. A strange
behavior I have observed is that even when a feature which has the component
group as its part is selected to be installed, some of my installation
components are not getting installed.
For example:-I have a component group CMPGr1
CMPGr1 has components CMP1, CMP2.
CMPGr1 is a part of feature FEAT1
None of the components of CMPGr1 are getting installed even when FEAT1 is
selected to be installed.
This is the case for a lot of my features while the other features install the
related components without a problem.
In the msi log I see
CMP1; Installed: Absent; Request: Null; Action: Null
CMP2; Installed: Absent; Request: Null; Action: Null
The Action is NULL even when the component is part of a feature which is
supposed to be installed.
This is a normal install, not an upgrade.

There must be something really silly I must be doing, which I believe you guys
can point out and correct.
Please help.
Thank in advance.
Regards,
Animesh
