Hi All, Looking at the WiX schema for 3.x. I don't see having the ability to use the <RegistrySearch> element, as a child of the <Bundle> element.
My goal is to ~not~ install Oracle client, if already present on the target. If it is there, then augment [prepend or append to] the TNSNAMES.ORA through a Custom Action; which, seems to be problem, since The parents of <CustomAction> are only <Fragment>, <Module>, <Product>. I was going to search for it through "ORACLE_HOME" in HKLA/Software/Oracle. Does anyone have an idea(s) on approaching this?
