Hi, I have an MSI installer that I'm signing with signtool, and everything works out fine (specifically, when users download the installer, the publisher field shows the company). I also have a burn bundle which includes that installer in it with some additional prerequisites, which I also sign using the same certificate. However, the elevation request from burn shows the publisher as "Unknown", even though the publisher shows up correctly in the downloaded file security dialog.
I'm assuming it's related to the fact that not all of the contents of the installer are signed, but I don't know what the requirements are for the elevation phase to also show the correct publisher, and google and the docs both yielded no answer. Anyone?
