I generated an msp using Wix 3.5 and Windows Installer 4.5, and ran into a problem with one of the files I added. The file was added in the patch, which should have meant that the attribute in the File table for this file should have been set to 4096. It is set to zero, however. All of the other new files in the patch have the File attribute correctly set to 4096. I cannot figure out what is unique about this file and component. In a patch, is there a way to force the attribute for a file in the File table to be set to 4096? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Better than sec?
