Question for the developers. I have a burn install package that installs our MSI called shellsetup. Long story short my boss had an old version of shellsetup on his desktop which is where he placed the install exe. The package exe looked at that msi and tried to install it instead of downloaded the correct one from the web. When we deleted the msi it worked fine.
Should it not be looking at the Product id to determine if the msi is the correct one? It seems like it is looking at the file name only.
