Solved, of course right after I report it. I completely uninstalled and re-installed WiX and now it appears. I think it was related to an issue with the subst command. I had my old G: drive die this week and replaced it with another drive that had the same structure backed up in a subdirectory. I used subst to make that subdirectory appear as G:. But subst is per-user and Administrator doesn't see the mapping, so when I installed WiX, it didn't see my VS2010 installation. I ran cmd.exe as Administrator to set the subst mapping and the complete re-install of WiX picked up the VS2010 installation.
