Is this only for internal use/ development? If not I do believe that the recommendation is to not have an uninstall shortcut in the start menu. http://robmensching.com/blog/posts/2007/4/27/How-to-create-an-uninstall-shortcut-and-pass-all-the and http://blogs.technet.com/b/alexshev/archive/2008/02/20/from-msi-to-wix-part-10-shortcuts.aspx should get you all you need. (I'm betting you are going to have to pass the bundel's product code to your MSI and have the MSI create the shortcut.)
